qapital.co is run by Qapital Advisory & Acquisitions B.V. (“Qapital”), Singel 268, 3311 HK Dordrecht, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 72970049. Qapital is responsible for the personal data collected here. For anything about your data, email info@qapital.co.

• Newsletter. Your email address, and on which part of the site you subscribed. You are then taken to Substack with your address filled in, to subscribe to the weekly as well.
• 1-on-1 requests. Your name, email address, the session you chose, the day and time you picked, and your note.
• Co-invest interest. Your name, email address and the answers you give: role, time, participation, sectors, the quick question and what you would want to be responsible for. If you tick the research box, we may also use your answers, anonymized, in research on how investors decide. That is optional and separate from being contacted.
• Visits. Google Analytics counts every visit without cookies and without anything that identifies you, with IP addresses anonymized. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie question.
• Email. Whatever you send us when you write to us.

• Sending the newsletter, because you asked for it (consent). You can unsubscribe from every email.
• Handling a 1-on-1 request or co-invest interest and replying to it, because you asked us to (steps before an agreement).
• Using anonymized co-invest answers in research, only if you ticked the box (consent).
• Visit statistics without cookies, to see how the site is used and improve it (legitimate interest); Analytics cookies only with your consent.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not take automated decisions about you.

Transfers to the United States rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.

Newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. 1-on-1 requests and co-invest interest for as long as needed to handle them and any work that follows; invoices for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires. Visit statistics are deleted by Google Analytics at the end of its retention period.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to limit how we use it, to object, or to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Email info@qapital.co and we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Without your consent, this site sets no cookies. Your answer to the cookie question is kept in your browser itself (local storage, as “sk-consent”). If you accept, Google Analytics sets its cookies (_ga and _ga_*), which last up to two years. You can change your answer at any time under “Cookies” at the bottom of every page.
